About Joshua

Joshua Galvan Evans is an actor and voice actor based in New York City. He was born in Naples, Florida, where he developed an interest in the performing arts thanks to his mother, who exposed him early on to the wonders of theater and storytelling.His earliest formal training took place at New World School of the Arts in Miami, a public magnet high school with a strong foundation in classical acting. During this time, Joshua discovered a deep interest in animation and video games, which led him into the world of voice acting. He began learning independently, collaborating with emerging artists and animators on indie projects, studying recording equipment and vocal performance, and consistently auditioning.In 2019, Joshua was admitted to The American Musical and Dramatic Academy (AMDA) and studied at the Los Angeles campus to continue his acting education. Throughout his studies, he continued pursuing voice-over opportunities by sending demo reels to agencies and studios. His dedication paid off when he was hired to provide additional voices for the anime series Welcome to Demon School! Iruma-kun at Bang Zoom! Studios in Burbank.Joshua temporarily withdrew from AMDA when the COVID-19 pandemic struck, but his journey did not stop there. After listening to his demos, Atlas Talent Agency contacted him and offered to represent him. He has been proudly working with them ever since, recording remotely in his ever-evolving home studio.Upon rejoining AMDA at their New York campus, Joshua completed his program and has since continued building his career in theater, film, and voice-over. He frequently travels between New York and Los Angeles for work. He carries a passionate drive to bring characters and stories to life, whether on stage, on screen, or behind the microphone.
